LIFE: I finally got a Canon 600D!

Guess who got a camera? This girl! (This girl being me). I finally got one after wanted one for years and I saved up a while for it. I will finally be able to take great photos and maybe do videos in the future? Would anyone be interested in that? For now I will do some sample videos of just miscellaneous things when I go out, no real production or showing my face. Give me ideas about filming, and maybe one day I will start filming beauty videos.

REVIEW: Le Tan Daily Face Sheer Tint with SPF 30+

I featured this product in my Quick Priceline Haul a couple of weeks ago when I bought it online because I wanted this product for a month or two. I haven't seen much reviews so I just bought it not knowing what to expect. Now that is definitely summer (survived first heat wave of 2014), perfect timing to use it and check out it's SPF power and matte finish claims.

First opening this product the tint was pretty dark, but keep in mind it is universal because it only comes in one shade.

I wore it underneath my Organic Wear Tinted Moisturiser from Physician's Formula and I only put it on some parts of my face (really stupid) and I got sunburn on my nose (where I didn't apply it enough) but the rest of my face where I applied was sunburn free. If you apply it all over your face with fingers it spreads and matches and evens skin tone.

PROS:
  • SPF 30+
  • UVA & UVB Protection
  • Fragrance & Paraben Free
  • Moisturising
  • Nice Matte Packaging
CONS:

  • One Shade Avaliable

*SORRY THIS LOOKS LIKE SHIT, BLOGSPOT IS FUCKING ME OVER* (SOZ FOR LANGUAGE)
MY RATING: 7.5/10
WOULD REPURCHASE? Definitely. IF they brought out more shades. I feel this medium shade makes my face far too muddy looking and cakey when applied with a brush. Applying with fingers is so much easier and the appearance looks better. I have used this five days in a row (majority of days being mid 30 degree Celsius) and I haven't gotten burnt.

MUSIC: The Weeknd - Drunk In Love (Remix)

IMAGE SOURCES: PRETTYMUCHAMAZING (L) & THEWEEKNDXO SOUNDCLOUD (R)
If any of you have read the very minimal amounts of music posts I've created on here, one of them featured The Weeknd which can be located here. The Weeknd is a 24 year old (his birthday was on the 16th of Feburary) Canadian producer and artist, he has over 1 million followers on Sound Cloud and for good reason. He released his remix of Beyonce's Drunk In Love which I think is amazing and might just be on the same level as my girl B.

What do you think of these to similar but different pieces?

KMART HAUL #1

After work on the 2nd I had to go shopping at Kmart for some pantry stuff for my parents, but we ended up buying clothes and some things I was after so here you go.

Full Body Swimsuit - $10AUD
I thought these were so cute when they first came out last year when they were $20 but I already have cute bikinis from Cotton On from late 2012. But I saw them half price and jumped on them and they are so cute. They even have a removable halterneck strap.

4x6 Frames in Black & Pink - $2AUD
I bought two of these for my friends because I printed out some photos at the Kmart Photo Centre as a part of their birthday presents. They probably already have their presents now because I didn't want to post it before just in case they saw.

My original cable that I got with my iPod years ago finally broke and was dangerous to use so I just got this kmart branded cable which works just the same.

Are you guys liking the new way I take photos? It's super hard to get natural light in my room and the only nice background I have is my new desk. Or do you like the old set up on my outdoor lounge?(luxurious lol)

REVIEW: Protane Moroccan Argan Oil

Aldi - Protane Moroccan Argan Oil (100ml) - $9.95 *
I bought this about a month ago (02/01/14) or whenever this was promoted at Aldi for this line so my memory is shit, so the price might not be correct (correct me if I'm wrong). Once I bought this I realised it may not be CF, so before using it I contacted Aldi's Customer Service if the Protane line tests on animals and got a reply on the 22nd and they said this:

So once receiving that I tried it out and I can say it feels similar to other argan oils I've tried in the past and does absorb into my hair nicely and makes it smell nice and it's smooth and feel no oily residue (only on my hands which go away in like two minutes). Plus, it has very similar packaging to the Organix Moroccan Argan Oil range.

PROS:
  • Leaves hair feeling smooth
  • Smells Nice
  • Strengthens Hair
  • Alcohol Free
  • Great Price
  • Dispenser

CONS:
  • Not Organic (judging from ingredients)
  • Not easily accessible (Only available at Aldi and stock is on and off)

PRODUCT ITSELF - SEMI THICK CONSISTENCY

MY RATING: 9/10
WOULD REPURCHASE? Yep. I use it once I've gotten out of the shower and put my hair in buns and my hair is great when it dries. For the price it's sweet quality compare to Organix Moroccan Argan Oil that is $19.99 (100ml) from Priceline which was great when I used it. It is similar, but a bit more un-natural.
